Chapter I- Preliminary (Section 1-4)

The Chapter describes the scope and extent of the Act. It also contains an interpretation clause which defines the important terms and expressions used in the later parts of the Act.

Chapter II- Of the Relevancy of facts (Section 5-55)

This chapter describes the methods to determine relevant facts produced before the Court. The chapter consists of relevancy of facts forming part of same transaction; facts which are the occasion, cause or effect of facts in issue; motive, preparation and previous or subsequent conduct; admissions; relevancy of judgements, opinions of third persons and character of a person.
