ORDER V – Issue and Service of Summons

1. ISSUE OF SUMMONS

This part of the code deals with the provisions containing the duty of the Court to issue summon notice to the defendants after the institution of a suit. The provisions primarily contain as to when summon notices are to be served and what documents will be sent along with the summon notices.

2. SERVICE OF SUMMONS

This part of the code deals with provisions laying down the manner in which the summons that will be issued in the previous part will be served to the person intended.
