1. General Exceptions (Section 76 – 95)

This part comprises of provisions laying down the general conditions wherein although a person may have committed an offence, but the circumstances under which the act was done are such that the person is exempted from conviction.


2. Of The Right of Private Defence (Section 96 – 106)

This part comprises of provisions laying down the specific conditions wherein offences committed by a person won’t be responsible for holding him as a convict, if the acts were done in private defence.
